Unfortunately, Fadil withdrew Mirjeta from Miss Universe 2013 because Mirjeta could not enter Russia where the contest is being held due to bad relations between Kosovo & Russia I hope she will compeye in 2014!

Bad relations?No relations at all! Kosovo is not recognised by most countries around the world, the United Nations, the European Union etc! And it won't be recognised any time soon as long as the human rights of Serbian minority of Kosovo are not respected!
Mirjeta can't travell almost anywhere with her passport! All her predecessors used their US passports (since most of them were US citizens) or an Albanian passport! It's weird why Fadil did not do the same thing as every year! Question

Its official, Mirjeta is confirmed to represent Kosovo in Miss Universe 2014 because the contest this year is in Russia! I don't know anything about Albania whether Fioralba Dizdari or Kristina Bakiu will be representing Albania in Miss Universe 2014, on wikipedia, it says its Kristina Bakiu but IDK what happened to Fioralba! I'm pretty sure Russia & Albania recognize each other as nations so I think they will send Fioralba this year and Kristina next year because as far as I'm concerned, Fioralba can enter Russia!

Not all the European Union some country don't recognized it but other yes like my country France.

European Union as a whole organization has not recognised Kosovo, the main issue is the human rights of the Serbian minority! Some countries have comercial interests in Kosovo so the have unilaterally recognised it!!
