Miss Arizona, 19 year old Victoria Mendoza, was named Miss World America!!!! She is from Phoenix and proudly described herself as being Mexican American. Mendoza, who was also named one of the top 3 in the Beauty With A Purpose competition alongside Miss Massachusetts and Miss Louisiana, was crowned by the reigning Miss World, Rolene Strauss, and outgoing Miss United States and Miss World 2nd runner-up, Elizabeth Safrit. She will now go on to represent the United States at Miss World 2015 on December 19 in Sanya, China.
Mendoza will be the second woman from Arizona to represent her state at Miss World. The only other time Arizona was represented at Miss World was when Lynda Carter (who found fame as Wonder Woman) made the top 15 in 1972

On of the favs won! She is pretty, fresh and very very articulate!!!!!!!!! She won the interview segment If I am not mistaken!
A very good top 5, any girl could have been a great MW candidate! I wish her the best!!!
Hope she makes Latinos and especially Mexicans Americans proud in China (eat you heart out Trump)!!

Victoria often reminds Isler. Yeh, this was a big "gol" for JM: a half Mexican is what she need for a Beauty wiht Purpose campaing against the discrimination.
JM and Rolene will visit Mexico at July 16.
