During the same event, Everlyn Njelele was crowned as the first princess while Kundai Claire Somerai was titled as the second Princess. The People’s Choice Award and Miss Personality was won by Tariro Zvizhizji.

Zimbabwe started participating at Miss World pageant in 1980 and has never won a Miss World crown yet. The nation has cracked the semi-finals five times, with the highest placement being third runner up in the courtesy of Angeline Musasiwa at Miss World 1994
