In this photo, Miss Montana, Dawn Oney, left, wins the trophy as the most popular contestant and she received the most applause in the preliminary for the title of Miss U.S.A. Miss Greece, Rita Dialina, right, arrives in New York on her way to Long Beach after she got the entry visa to participate in the Miss Universe competition.
