Miss Sweden, Kiki Hakansson (centre) waves check for £1,000 she won with the title of Miss World 1951 at finals of Festival of Britain contest at London’s Lyceum. Miss England, Laura Ellison-Davies (left) placed second and Miss England, Doreen Dawne (right) placed third.
