FRANCE: The Essence Official Thread 

Inspired on Panama's thread created by Lola99, I decided to create a thread on France for show to you and visitors of this forum that France is not the country quoted by the stereotypes, that France is not only Paris and the Eiffel Tower. I will show you in this thread the diversity of France as an ethnic, landscape, linguistic and etc... levels.

Short presentation of France 

I) GENERALLY

France is a country compose of a metropolitan part situated in the western part of the European Continent and of various other sea's department and region situate in Africa (Reunion Island and Mayotte), North America (St Pierre and Miquelon), South America (Guyanne), the Carrabean Sea (Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Barthelemy (St Barts) and St Martin) and the Pa)ific Ocean (Tahiti and Wallis & Futuna). France also haved islands situated in various placei  the world but these others island are not uninhabited.

The money is euro, the official language is french (but there are many regional languages ( i will create an article in this thread later), the anthem is "La Marseillaise" and the  motto "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité" (Liberty , Eguality, Fraternity) and France is the member of various International Organisation like the European Union, The International Organisation of the Francophonie, the G8 , the G20.

II "LA MARSEILLAISE: THE ANTHEM 

"La marseillaise" the anthem of France was first created by officer.. Joseph Claude Rouget de Lisle duringt the night from 25th to the 26th of April. Requested by the Baron of Dietrich, the mayor of City Strasbourg for create a military song the the voluntary of the Rhin's army after the war's declaration by the King to Austria. The first tile of the song was "Chant de guerre pour l'armée du Rhin, dédié au Maréchal Lückner" (= "War's song for the Rhin's army, dedicated to the Marshall Lückner). The 29th of April of 1729, the National Guard interpreted the song  ont the Place d'Armes of Starsbourg for welcome the the voluntary coming from Rhône-et-Loire.

the  21st of June , during a reunion between people from Marseilles and Montpellier ready to join the federate army who is construting in apris; 

The song will be sing by the people from Marseille who will go to the nothern part of France for particiapte at the insurection of the Tuileries. 

After various name  ( "Chant de guerre des arméedes frontière (= "war song of the army of the fronteers") , "Chant de ralliement des marseillais"  (= Rallying song of the people from Marseille") or " Marche ou Hymne des marseillais" '(=Walking or Anthem of the people from Marseilel") the song adopted finally the title of "la Marseillaise" 

The 28th of september of 1772 the song is declaredofficial anthem fo France and the 14th of July of 1795 was declared National Song.

the song wa forbidden during the Empire and during the restauration but it was rehonoured during the revolution of 1830. 

She was redeclared national anthem during the third republic in 1879 and in 1887 an "official version" was adopted by the ministry of war after an commision's notice.
