Lucia Petterle, 1971: the only Brazilian who won the MW.
Adriana Oliveira, 1984: the only Brazilian who won the Univ and World versions in Brazil. She placed in the final top of MU (1981) and MW.
Francine Eickemberg, 2000: was a fave for the MW title, but did not make the top. Won the Reina del Café 2001 and the Reina Sudamericana 2006 (today Hispanoamericana).
Mariana Notarângelo, 2012: placed in the final top fo MW 2012 and won the Queen of Americas Award. She had won, also, the Miss Globe Intl 2011.
Sancler Frantz, 2013: a big fave for the MW crown, she won a Fast Track (Best Body) for the 1st time in MW for Brazil and made the best average in the prelims of a Miss Brazil World on the current MW version. Won the Queen of Americas Award.

She was a finalist - Top 7. Placed in the semifinals of Talent, placed in 5th in Top Model and 4th in Beach Fashion and won the Queen of Americas award.
Before, she had won the Miss Globe Intl 2011.

Lucia is the only Brazilian who won the MW, in 1971. She did not reign until the end and did not crown her successor. This "case" is a mystery until today and no one knows what really happened.
Years later, she was formed Medical.

Adriana is the only Brazilian crowned Miss Brasil Univ (1981) and World (84) and made the final tops on MU and MW. She was one of the faves in both pageants.

Sancler was a finalist - Top 6 - on MW 2013 and won the Queen of Americas award. She won also the Beach Fashion fast-track, was Top 5 on Top Model and Beauty with a Purpose and placed in 5th in Interview Scores. In the Semifinal Scores she placed in 2nd (Megan was the 1st). Is the best average of a Miss Brasil since the fast-tracks and Beauty with Purpose were incorporated on the MW.
