The pageant officially begins tonight with a press conference and by presenting the candidates. This pageant will be held on August 30, 2015, and the winner will represent the island in MU 2015.

Miss Barahona 2015 dropped out from the competition, because she was getting bullied and insulted from mnay people because she is half colombian. Rumors are spread now that maybe the reigning Miss Mundo Dominicana 2014 Dhio Moreno will take her place.   Neutral
