I don't have the best news, I just read on another forum that MELODY MIR confirmed that she isn't participating via facebook she said it wasn't her time yet but she may join in 2014.

Here is a full list of provinces that will compete in Miss Dominican Republic this year, next to it, is the contestant it will represent, I only posted the girls with the provinces that I'm 100% sure that they will represent. If I didn't post a girl, it means I'm not 100% sure that they will be competing, I've read different things from multiple places, or I know if a girl is competing but I don't know what she'll represent, so here are the provinces w/ the girls that will be represented, I will update this list when I find more infos, if anything changes and when a full list comes out.

So far it seems like Elias Piña is the favorite among us for now, but my personal favorite is RDUS

Elias Piña is by far the most beautiful as of now, but I unfortunately read she isn't as sponsored as some of the other contestants which may cost her the crown but I can honestly totally see Chantel and Marileny as the last two honestly

Agree completely she's Dulcita Lieggi 2.0. I can already see her winning and then Magaly overbaking her for Miss Universe. And if she does win she'll be out for sure. And if they decide to judge it on beauty alone this year, Elias Piña has the crown in te bag but something tells me Marileny is going to win
