ANALYSIS - Where are the peace and love in the pageants? (or about the dropouts of Kurdistan and Sweden)
Where are the peace and love in the pageants?
Where are the peace and love in the pageants?[/b]
In one week, 2 situations, of Miss Kurdistan in Miss Grand and Miss Sweden in Miss International need make us reflect: where are the peace and love in the pageants?
The 2 cases occurred in the same condition: the girls were weary, sick (physically or mentally) and spoke about the excess of activities: "we did not have time to eat and sleep".
And because they did not feel well, they decided to retire of the competition. These were personal decisions and in a world of "peace and love", this is a primary Human Right: make a decision. All have the right to make a decision, and no, you need not give 1 million of motives.
But in pageant of "peace and love", this wasn't so. And remember, 2 times in a week. Miss Kurdistan and Miss Sweden had their rights violated when they decided go home. The orgs of Miss Grand and International began, so, a "emotional war" against the girls: they retained the passports (other human right is have documents) and spoke about the rules of the contract. A contract who - apparently!!! - is so strict that the girls are transformed in slaves.
And... a contract of slavery, retain passports, make emotional wars, etc... are realy the contrary of what these pageants advocate.
So, the question continues: where are the peace and love in the pageants?

What I've been seeing is that these girls are more like under a military regimen, instead of enjoying a beauty pageant.
