Rio Grande do Sul - the greatest winner in Brasil

Rio Grando do Sul is the greatest winner in Brasil Universe and have 12 titleholders: 1956, 1963, 1972, 1986, 1993, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012.
The 1st Brazilian winner in MU was from Rio Grande do Sul: Ieda Maria Vargas!


In Miss Brasil World the history is not different. The state have 7 titleholders and four 2nd places. The current MBW, Sancler Frantz, is from Rio Grande do Sul - and her 1st ru, Raquel Benetti, too. (But the two competed with the bands of Ilha dos Lobos and Espírito Santo, respectively).


Brazilian first place on final Top of Miss International was in 1961: with other Miss Rio Grande do Sul - Vera Brauner Menezes.

Rio Grande do Sul is the southern state of Brasil, near Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Is a beautiful place, with beaches, mountains and cities. The capital is Porto Alegre. The summer is hot, but the winter is cold, with 0. Celsius.

Sancler is my favorite.

Last saturday, Miss Rio G do Sul 2014 was chosen. A lot of Brazilian love her. We need remember that the state have a big tradition to prepare her misses and is called "the Brazilian Venezuela". Personally, I think she is the girl to beat.
