MORE OR LESS IT STATES THAT; "CONTESTANTS FOR THE TITLE OF INTERNATIONAL QUEEN OF COFFEE 2014 ARE WEARING A TYPICAL DRESS OF CHAPOLERA.  THE CHAPOLERA IS A TYPE OF COLOMBIAN PEASANT (COUNTRY GIRL) DRESS CHARACTERIZED BY THOSE DEDICATED TO THE RECOLLECTION OF COFFEE, IN THE STATES OF CALDAS, RISARALDA, QUINDIO AND OTHER MUNICIPALITIES (TOWNS) OF THE NORTHERN VALLE DEL CAUCA AND SOUTH WEST OF ANTIOQUIA; ALSO IS A NATIVE DRESS FORM IN THE REGION.  IT'S NAME (CHAPOLERA) FROM A SPECIES OF BUTTERFLIES KNOWN AS CHAPORA, WHICH MIGRATES TO THE COFFEE FARMS DURING HARVEST SEASONS."


Candidatas al título de Reina Internacional del #café 2014 luciendo el traje típico de chapolera. La Chapolera es un tipo de campesina #colombiana característica del #Ejecafetero dedicada a la recolección de café, en los departamentos de #Caldas, #Risaralda, #Quindío, y algunos municipios del Norte del Valle del Cauca y suroccidente #antioqueño que además, viste de una forma muy autóctona de la región.
