This is the 3rd time that this contest take place in Sweden. Ukraine is the winner of the 2016 edition, with the song "1944" performed by Jamala (Susana Jamaladinova)

The darkest moment for Eurovision! Australia won the jury vote and Russia got the public vote....the award was nominated to Ukraine for a song praising the nazis! Politics over music sadly! The rise of the Far Right-Neo-nazi movements in Europe are getting stronger and stronger but this was a very alarming result! don't know

I have to say that Sweden did an amazing job! They organised an amazing show an dthe hosts were propably the best hostonh duet in the Eurovision history!

Russia got the public vote (Sergey  I love you  I love you )

Rusian prime minister Dmitrie Medvedev decided to quit with the Eurovision song contest from russian side. He said, that this decision came up after political winning of Ukraine. Crying or Very sad
