The Miss Earth announced yesterday that the new ND of Miss Brazil Earth is the Portuguese Ricardo Monteverde. He is also the owner of Miss Portugal Earth.
There are no informations about the sistem of the election of the new Miss Brazil Earth.
During the last years, the former ND, José Alonso, did not make a pageant. The girl was a personal choive of Alonso.

Miss Malaysia World 2016, Tatiana Kumar Nandha, has been stripped of her title due offensive remarks on the Internet and social media regarding the organisation. The announcement was made at Instagram by former national director, Dato' Anna Lin.
Lin was the director between 2013 and 2016. She is the 2nd national director, since past December, who returned the franchise to JM. The 1st was from the Philippines.

The 1st rumours began 2 weeks ago and yesterday Global Beauties (the web site of Miss Brazil World director) confirmed the information. "It's official", wrote the GB. "This year, the performance of the misses in the social network will have more importance", added the GB.
The girls will arrive in November, but the final night is predicted to be in December.

Miss Belize is now a big confusion. The National Director has resigned but will send the first runner-up to Miss International in 2016 (or other "miss international" contest?)? If she has resigned, how is the organization working?
So, I personally unterstood thar she, only, will not continue with the MU franchise, but the Miss Belize Organization is still working.

Two of the Señorita Colombia 2017 winners RESIGNED!

It was CONFIRMED that Virreina Colombia 2017, Vanessa Pulgarin who was scheduled to attend the Miss International 2017 this November in Japan and Segunda Princesa, Vanessa Dominguez have quit representing Colombia this year.
Primera Princesa, Yenifer Hernandez will replaced Vanessa Pulgarin to represent Colombia in Miss International 2017.

It was reported earlier that all four finalists (except the main winner) submitted their resignation letters but only two (Virreina and Segunda Princesa) were confirmed their exits. Tercera Princesa, Maria Fernanda Betancur is still in talks with the organization if she wants to retain her position.

Señorita Colombia 2017, Laura Gonzalez Barjum Ospina will go to Miss Universe 2017.
